A large hawk made it's way over Independance airspace. Taking in the views once more Jason safly tucked inside the birds body enjoyed the freedom of the air. Unfortuantly tonight was a buisness night, and as was quite often he was showing up unannounced. It was fun that way. He spied what he was looking for. Lady Silverbirds estate.
He smiled as he spied an open window. He dove quickly making enterance into the estate with just a ruffle of feathers as he banked back up sharply. He flew around the great hall twice before landing smartly on a suit of armor. He sat and waited for the lady of the house to show herself. She had an uncanny ability to know when she had company.

Of course she did, her auspex had 600 years to ferment. She'd been resting in her office, sprawled out on her sofa in a black sweater dress and tights, a book in one hand and a glass of a vintage red wine in the other. The flutter of wings was softer than her turning pages, but she'd still hear.
Stepping out into the hall where the armor stood 'guard', the prince cleared her throat. "I'm not in the mood for barbecued wings, but I might be if you've left any 'gifts' on my authentic French knight's armor..."

The hawk squawked out something akin to laughter. It stared at her for a moment before taking majestic flight once more. As it swooped around her in greeting it moved to land once more in front of her. It looked up at her the deep blue eyes of Jason staring hard taking in the Prince once more. It then took a somewhat weird looking but graceful bow of it's body. While doing so the man known as Jason slowly took from coming up from the ground to be kneeling in front of her in a very respectful bow. He had tried to clean up a little for her. His leather Jacket was cleaned up and held over his beaten up clothing. Though he had changed his pants into a respective pair of jeans with no holes.
"You know I would never do such a thing Lady Silverbird. Even I'm not so bold." Even while he said this his smile of mischief crossed his face. Almost as if he was considering it. But then he turned serious again. "I'm sorry for my absence, but I have returned and am announcing my presence to you once more. With your permission I would like to take residence again outside your domain and have access to the feeding and hunting inside your domain as well as the free will to travel among your great city." His formality has seemed to have gotten better despite his gruff edges that would always be part of his Gangrel nature.

The Prince was, as ever, gracious and receptive to visitors...and even more so to a familiar face. She gently stepped in and put her hands on his shoulders, maternal and warm. "You always have a place in my city, Jason." She'd smile, placing her hands back at her side.
"How did your travels go? I recall you leaving, but so much has happened..."

He stood up after she touched him gaining his full height fluidly. He looked at her with an almost sad smile. "I didn't find any evidence of my sire. I was hoping to find answer's but came up empty handed. Maybe if I had more time practicing the art of Auspex it would have gone better but to no avail. It was nice seeing my home once more, and strangely enough it didn't feel like home at all. Almost no one remembered me. But the trip was fun, I got in a few scrapes and got to practice a bit, but as you can see, still in once piece. I have this place to thank for that."
He smiled at the memories. All the fights and weird places that he had been thrown threw, with the Princes daughter included. He wondered if the portal to the netherworld had been closed off. That was strange indeed. "But enough about me, how goes your game of chess? I'm more then willing to help, but a request I may make. I find that my freedom has stuck to me and while I'm more the happy and willing to help you with your problems against the Sabbat here, I may want to hold onto my independence that I had roaming as an independent on the road. But this is your city and I will always respect your rule here. I even offer up Verdel Camping as a Camarilla safe zone, with announcement of course."

Robin would nod at Jason, studying him for a moment. She didn't blame him for wanting his freedom, many Gangrel had left the Camarilla...and she'd always given them the option to leave. "You'll be under Logan's authority then, he's calling himself the Alpha now... I'd be careful with him, he's quite strong. You two should have fun wrestling."
She shrugged slightly and tossed her hair over her shoulders. "Just don't eat my neonates and we'll be good." She winked.
"The chess game has slowed, its been awhile since I've received anything new..."

He nodded that competitive smile crossing his face. "I'm sure we won't have a problem Logan and I. They were quick to accept me before and his childer had already come calling. It should be a blast. Though I'm sure when I'm ready to set in the Camarilla has always been my home."
He seemed slightly disturbed by the chess game becoming slow again. "Well if anything a pawn has show back up on your side. Use it how you will. Anyway not to cut this short but I have an Isabelle to go scare. Any idea where I can find her?" He said with too much pleasure. The playful grin coming back across his face that could only spell trouble.

"Logan is a mouthy thing, even you don't rustle my feathers as much." She laughed, and canted her head slightly. Jason made her feel more relaxed than the other neonates at times, she didn't need to be her matriarchal self, he was down to earth, and often didn't treat her like she was made of glass. It was refreshing.
"Isabelle? These nights she's been guiding the newest neonates about...cleaning up their messes like she works in a daycare. I'd check Clear Profit, if not, you know she never puts her cell phone away. Same number as always."
Her eyes drift to her office for a moment. "Honestly, I want Alan to make a move...maybe I should draw him out."

Jason nodded. "I must have missed the reveling of your opponent. From what I've gleaned though you have a fresh batch of neonates at your disposal...or you know...I could run around town as a bear and see what kinda trouble that stirs up." He chuckled at the thought as he could only imagine what was going threw Robin's head at the proposal. He shook his head and quickly threw in before she yelled at him. "Or you know, I can ask the rats of the area if they have seen any of their kin." His tone more serious at the mention. Maybe he would come back to the Camarilla. It seemed like this place always had problems and work for him. He'd have to think on it and talk to Isabelle and Celio first.
He looked back up to Robin after he thought on it to hear her thoughts. His blue eye's taking her and the place in once more. Something about this place always brought him peace. Yeah he decided right there, this was home, more than any other place he had been too on earth and he would fight anyone to keep it protected. But she didn't have to know that now. He was starting back up anyway and a boon from the prince would always be a nice way to start.

"We'll see what comes of it...I don't want to stir him back up, this current batch needs to find their legs before they face the Bishop..." She'd smirk, and shrug her shoulders at him. Jason always had a way of adding to her smugness about the city, mainly because he was quite strong.
"I'd like you to perhaps give the newbies a lesson in hand to hand... that would be worthy of reward, of course."

"Well if you have a "piece" that you need taken out just send this lowly pawn out." He smiled. He wouldn't consider himself a pawn anymore but on that chess board he was.
Jason nodded and smiled. "Want me to set up the "scones and torches"? Maybe set up a sand ring with the scones circling it. If I remember correctly the Prince quite enjoyed them." He looked at her for approval. Liking the idea himself.

"Yes, set up the torches and sand...if war is coming, this new lot needs to be broken in." She'd shift her weight from one leg to the other, before speaking up again. "Don't kill any of them, but if they get hurt...well, they'll need to get used to pain here."

He laughed and nodded quickly. "As you wish my prince. Good luck and if you ever have need you know how to reach me. Also forewarn your new neonates, while they are welcome, some heads up would be nice. I do live in Sabbat territory." He smiled as he said this and then shrugged his shoulders a little. "Or not, but I promise nothing of there safety when coming unannounced. Anyway I would love to see Isabelle before I have to return home and try to feed. My Prince." He gave a little bow and with grace shifted back into his hawk form swiftly gaining flight and winging it's way playfully around robin three times so she could see the majestic bird in flight up close, took his leave threw the window to go scout out where Isabelle should be.
He flew swiftly once gaining the outside and upon reaching his destination he would walk threw the front door. Quickly landing in an ally nearby he shifted and started walking towards the door. He looked at the building, sure that his security clearance had been revoked when he disappeared without a word to the group and finally walked inside. He quickly made his way towards the greeter and stood in front of the receptionist looking all the scary bruiser that he was known to be. "Isabelle Hale. Quickly if you wouldn't mind." He almost barked out while on the inside he was laughing at the poor soul.

The poor receptionist jumped as they saw him, but quickly lead him to the Harpy's office. They merely opened the door, stepping away to avoid any conflict. The office was bigger than he'd remember, with geeky posters and tat setting around, not quite organized, but not a clutered mess either. The harpy was sitting at the desk with her laptop open, typing away when her eyes glancedup...and her face dropped. "J-Jason?"

Jason looked more the bad boy than the happy puppy that he had always been. To her he may have looked more grown, more worldly, his travels clearly showing on his unchanged features of the vampire world. It was the look in his eyes. But as soon as he saw her face drop he stopped dead in his tracks. The fear that would be there was understandable. He would always regret it. Even if it took his immortal lifetime to fix it, some day he would. He promised himself that much.
He quickly took a seat in a chair that gave her and him room. He looked at her without saying anything for a moment and then nodded. "I wanted to let you know that I was back. I have already been given permission to be here by the Prince, and am here to help once more. I missed my "family" unit on my travels and didn't find what I was looking for so I have returned. I figured I owed you at least that much so we didn't run into each other out on the streets." He looked at her, waiting to see if she would ease. It made him uncomfortable that she was like this around him. But he quickly pressed on. "Also I know how hard it is getting in touch with Celio so I figured I'd drop the message by with you. That and you can put me back in your black book of favors. I do believe I still owe you a minor boon, since I stole my hat back."
He smiled slightly at that, his crooked half smile, hoping that the mention of the hat might get a chuckle from her, a memory of better times.
