We run on a three strike program. You get 3 strikes and any further violations of following rules will result in a ban.
1, You will be respectful to ALL players and STs. It is okay to disagree, it is NOT okay to insult or mock one another. We're ALL here to have fun. If you feel as though someone has been insulting or condescending to you, you may go to a impartial ST or another player who will act as a mediator for both of you.
2, If you disagree with an ST, you may request to pause the scene and check on the rules (perhaps you think you should roll willpower to resist something and the ST disagrees). If looking for an official answer in the V20 rulebook is taking too long or the conversation has become too disruptive, the ST will make a judgement call on the rule and the discussion can be brought up after the scene has ended.
3, Do not have your characters act on information you have learned out of character. This is metagaming and it is not allowed here.
5, While you are allowed to have 2 characters, switching between them in the same scene is not allowed EXCEPT for Elysium or with admin apporval. And these characters may NOT know each other (knowing the other exists/their role is fine). Example: Character A gets a weapn more suited for B, you should NOT rp having A give the weapon to B.
---
Non banable, but still relevant!
6, You will be required to track your WP (we will keep an eye on this). You will regain 1 Willpower per week and keeping to your Nature/Demeanor in an ST run scene may reward you with additional Willpower. If there is no ST in the scene and you did something that you believe warrants a WP point, you may alert an ST with a timestamp. We will review the scene at the time given and determine if it warrants a WP point gain.
7, This is more of a suggestion than rule but it makes our lives MUCH easier if you read the book. There is a huge difference between VTM and other genres, and its useful to know these differences if you are unfamiliar. Its also useful to know basic mechanics such as how vampires are made, or what a ghoul is.
8, If you have the idea for a plot, run it by an ST, we will work with you to set it up. (Not doing so will not get you banned or even a strike, but you'll make us sad if you don't include us.)
If you do not have the V20 core book a pdf can be provided to you.
