Found in the desert near Independence, TX. A large paw print, looking to be canine, was photographed. Witnesses say they've been hearing howls in the night. Are there wolves in Independence? County Officials are offering $500 a tail to cull the wolf population down, and a $5,000 reward if the wolf is big enough to leave such a monstrous print! Last year, locals also dealt with mysterious cattle mutilations and similar tracks popping up inside the city limits. Officials recommend keeping your pets indoors and not to go out alone after dark. Isabelle has called the local neonates together once again to draw attention to the news. Instead of her office she has invited them to the Pent House of Clear Profit, where she and Celio invite guests over. It is a very upper scale place, with faux windows that keep the sun out. Everything is white, modern, and organised here. Well, save for a room marked 'Isabelle', which is currently locked. The harpy is lounging on the couch when everyone enters, a laptop in her lap and netflix playing some Ancient Aliens on the big screen TV. She doesn't look up at anyone, just continues typing away on her keyboard.

A dark haired man, with broad shoulders and styled hair, wearing casual clothes walks in. He looks around the room briefly, before standing with his hands behind his back waiting for the Harpy's acknowledgement.

Jake enters the room shortly. This wasn't his usual sort of job but he was excited for it nonetheless. Finally a chance to stretch his legs, so to speak, and hone his skills. He waited to be addressed though.

A woman with red hair and carrying a military style tote bag walks in and scans the room. A chill presence proceeds her, as if the air itself cooled at her presence. She glanced around at the people inside but made no move to talk as she moved slightly to the right and leaned up against the wall looking at the others. She had been told to come here and meet the other neonates. Man not even here a day and already sent to work. She looked sullen as she stood there.

The dark haired man watches as the new arrivals enter, his interest peaked. Perhaps they could be useful in the future. His face shifts minutely as he watches them, lost in thought.

The dark haired man's stare was getting to Jake. It reminded him of the day he lost Ohanzee and Ahiga. It didn't help that the nightmares had been particularly bad yesterday and he was still recovering. He could feel the hatred welling up inside him (Willpower roll 7 - 3 - 5 - 2 - 7 - 10 - 5). He'd been looking forward to this and now all he could think was how he wasn't going to work with any yingwese kiinuk giizos.
He realized he'd been staring at the man for quite some time and looked away. Just staying calm was exertion enough for the moment, he didn't need to keep his eyes on the animush causing him to slowly lose his mind.

There was a knock at the door. Then again. Then the door opened slightly. A pale face glanced around the door as she stepped in, one hand ruffling dark blue hair from her face, "Uhm... hey... Is this the right place?" she asked, her voice tainted by an Irish lilt. One hand moved into her shoulderbag, to pull out a purse, which when opened would produce a Clear Profit business card, "I saw someone called Ms. Silverbird? She said I should come here and ask for... Ms. Hale?" those bright eyes flicked up and around the room quickly, as though assessing for a reaction from one of them so she could figure out which one Izzy was.

The dark haired man looks to the new arrival, his eyes lighting up in excitement upon hearing her voice. However, with a quick glance towards the Harpy, he remained silent, although offering her a friendly, quiet smile. It was the dark haired girl who stirred the harpy's attention, being the only one brave enough to actually speak up. "Hmmm?" She'd blink, looking startled as her eyes moved back and forth from face to face. "Where did you?...O-oh, right."
She'd turn the laptop around and show everyone the paw print that'd been floating around the internet. "We need to look into this. Last time these things started popping up we found an entire sabbat pack ashed... good for us, but not if it decides its got a craving for Silverbird."

Not long after this tense stare-down occurred did a very "Un-tense man" enter the room, with his distinctive hat and jacket. He looked around as he walked towards the harpy.
"News travels fast" He thinks. But then, it was a harpy who had reached out to them. They're very good at spreading news, even if this one was a little unconventional.
"So I'm here about cutting off tails, I take it? Oh, hey Yukes"
His Cheshire Cat smile grew a little wider. An easy tease. He looks to the other two kindred in the room.
"Don't believe I've met you two however..."

The dark haired man looks to the new arrival, before looking at the harpy confusedly.
"I suppose we're supposed to introduce ourselves to each other?"
The man's low voice carries a distinctive Scottish accent, layered with slight confusion.

The irish woman spoke once more after exchanging a pleassant smile with Carson, "taking.. tails?" she asked, a confused look sprouting upon her face, "you'll have to forgive me I've got absolutely no idea what anyone's actually talking about in here... Is one of you this Miss Hale person I'm supposed to talk to ?" she concluded, sliding the business card around to point at Izzy's name just below where 'Clear Profit' was printed, and above 'Creative Technological Solutions Director'.

"Where were the prints found this time?" Jake was in no mood to hang around and socialize. Both was the prospect of a hunt too exciting, but he also didn't like some of the company and thought it best to get out.

Isabell seemed as though she was having a hard time socializing today, being quiet and not making direct eyecontact with anyone in the room. She'd let them all chatter before clearing her throat, "Uh...I'm Isabelle Hale, the town's Harpy? I assume you're Carson, Minerva, and Mallorie... the other two are Jake and Vincenr."
She shrugged her shoulders. "Yes, tails...the county offices thing we need to do a wolf cull...but I've seen this type of track before? Its not a wolf. I guess its good the humans think so."
"Er...found just outside, near Sabbat borders... I was hoping you all could look into that, we need to be sure this doesn't show up in town. You can handle that, right?"

Mallorie only nodded her head at Isabelle's comment to her and decided to ignore the pompous ass in his distinctive hat and jacket, giving the neonate a cold shoulder. She was not here to make friends, she just wanted to hear the details of the assignment and head out. She was very military in that way, get the assignment and do it. She didn't know any of the neonates and she wasn't here to make friends. She just wanted to get her job done and head home. Man what a bother.
